John Mitchell
Forensic Accountant

Mr. Mitchell is a Forensic Accountant and Litigation Consultant. For more than 30 years he has been involved in managing and analyzing the operations of financial institutions, manufacturing companies, hotels, construction companies, retailers, consultants and law firms. This experience has provided him the opportunity to deal with senior management, directors, government regulators, CPA's, lawyers and insurance company executives in projects throughout the U.S. Mr. Mitchell uses his accounting background to perform P&L analysis, long range planning / budgeting, loss analysis, project workouts and fraud detection.

Mr. Mitchell received his BS in Accounting from the University of South Dakota and did graduate work at Indiana University and the University of Tulsa. He was Senior Litigation Consultant with a hospitality industry boutique law firm where he provided litigators with case strategy input, damages analysese, appropriate specialized consultants, forensic accounting and document analysese. He has assisted in settling multi-million dollar legal cases and restructuring troubled financial institutions nationwide through merger, change of control, stock conversion, and long range planning/forecasting.
