Shilpi Bihari, M.S.
Research Economist
Ms. Shilpi is an economist currently completing her Ph.D. at the University of Texas, Dallas. Her fields of concentration are Industrial Organization and Financial Economics. She received her M.S. in Applied Economics from the University of Texas at Dallas in 2002 and is completing her Ph.D. in Economics. Her research interests include empirical methods in industrial organization, managerial economics, economic regulation and deregulation of business, antitrust economics, and transfer pricing. Ms. Shilpi has published a research paper, “Effect of Government Advertising Policies on the Market Power of Cigarette Firms” in The Review of Industrial Organization in 2006. She is a member of the American Economics Association. Her duties with Thomas Roney LLC include economic research, data management, and document review.
